Sunbeam....

We took this shot of Ethan sitting on the bed one morning. The photo came out really well, as it caught the sunbeams reflecting on his face. It reminded us of a song we once knew when we were kids. Where were you ?

We were in London on the 18th, but sadly not at the game ! Myself and Dilys were at Alex and Ed's wedding ( photos will be posted soon )from the 16th but we flew out on the 18th. We touched down and went straight to the pub ( I mean straight to collect Ethan ! ) and then watched the game. Horgan's try was truly sublime ; a real match winner. I think we were lucky with a few decisions, but you know what they say about the Irish and luck. It just so happens that we will be in NZ when Ireland play there two games against the All Blacks! I think the time is now for us to take those guys down. Sorry Warwick and Evan and the rest of the NZ crew ( Skiltons etc) but you have to lose sometimes.....

Jason Kilroy - Master Fencer !

I was onto Jason recently and he sent us this picture of himself. He has been fencing for some time now and has got quite good. This photo shows him doing a fencing demonstration for his team in J.P Morgan, outside the door to the office canteen. They said they were all really impressed and amazed at how much Jason looked like Sulu from Star Trek and nothing like Jim Kirk. I know what you may be thinking ; he is Sulu ! Well that's what everyone is saying. Keep up the good work Jason, I mean Sulu.....

Hard Luck Gizmo

As many of you will know, Peter Neil ( aka Gizmo ; see picture to right ! ) was shortlisted for the Irish blog awards, under the "most humorous" category. Unfortunately he didn't win. Next Generation....

We thought we should give some exposure to the next generation on our blog. As you can see, they are great bunch with real personalities! For those who don’t know all the kids' faces, from left to right they are : Ethan ( our little fella), Rebecca ( Graham and Louise's daughter ), Sam , Ella ( Bev and Wil's kids ). Susan and Warwick, who live down under, also have a little girl called Lilah, who is not in the photo. But as they are coming home in May we will be sure to get one of all 5 of them together.

Too Much time to waste

As most of you will know, Rob went back to college last year to become a man of the cloth! He says he spends allot of his time in the library doing essays, sermons etc. But I found this site in his favourites recently. Now I know why he spends so much time on the computer! Welcome to our first blog article

Well after much deliberation and faffing, we finally decided to go virtual and get our own blog ! It's probably to do with the fact that we are going to New Zealand for 2 months this summer and so many people have been telling us to get a blog so they can hear all the news! Also it could be something to do with the pressure from all you guys we know around the world who want to hear all the news on my college time, Ethan's growing experience and Dilys' weekly soap update ! As you can see from the photo, myself and Ethan are really excited while looking at our new blog, whereas Dilys doesnt seem as impressed !

So here goes with blog 1 of many. Watch this space for many interesting facts, updates and jounal entries ! Keep the comments rolling and see you in cyber space.
